Disney is giving guests a closer look at what’s coming next for one of Disney’s most beloved attractions.
As part of the upcoming “Disney Celebrates America” initiative tied to the nation’s 250th anniversary, a new version of the attraction, Soarin’ Across America, is set to debut in EPCOT at Walt Disney World on May 26, 2026, followed by Disneyland Resort on July 2, 2026.
This updated experience will take guests on a sweeping journey across the United States, replacing the current version with a lineup focused entirely on American landscapes, landmarks, and regions.

Disney has now revealed several of the locations guests can expect to see during the flight. The new film will feature a mix of iconic destinations and natural scenery, including the rugged New England coastline, New York Harbor, and the Grand Canyon’s vast vistas. Other scenes highlight the changing seasons and diverse geography across the country, from autumn in the heartland to the bayous of the South, the plains of the West, and the tropical island shores of Hawaii.

According to Walt Disney Imagineering, the goal is to create a broad snapshot of what makes the United States unique, blending well-known landmarks with sweeping natural beauty.
The experience will still feature the signature motion simulation, wind effects, and immersive visuals that have made Soarin’ a guest favorite for years. A new musical arrangement, composed by Bruce Broughton and inspired by the original score, will accompany the updated journey.

At EPCOT, the queue will also get an update. Guests waiting to board will be able to take part in the “Soarin’ Challenge Across America,” a new interactive trivia experience created in partnership with National Geographic. The activity will highlight fun facts about each state and add something new to do while waiting in line.
This attraction update is part of a larger, company-wide celebration marking America’s 250th anniversary, with new experiences rolling out across Disney Parks and beyond in 2026.
