In honor of the next installment of the rapidly expanding Star Wars franchise, the Disney Parks merchandise team has developed a slew of Parks-specific products for guests to add to their collections. New Solo: A Star Wars Story merchandise will be available at both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, complete with clothing, pins, action figures, and MagicBands.
Cody Hampton, Senior Merchandiser with Merchandise Strategy and New Park Experiences Development, said of the new offerings, “Guests of all ages can celebrate beloved characters and new adventures from this highly-anticipated film with a fantastic cross-category assortment of products, several of which were created especially for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.”
Fans can purchase a wide range of Parks-specific products based on characters and adventures from the highly anticipated movie like a Droid Factory action figure set. Guests can also partake in the build-your-own-droid experience where you can mix and match parts to create your own personalized droid.
Park-goers can also trade brand new Solo: A Star Wars Story pins and trading accessories. These character-inspired pins can go on the accompanying lanyards, hats, and jackets based on the film.
Throwback track-style jackets, T-shirts, and hats are just a few of the clothing items included in this product launch.
Guests can also purchase limited edition MagicBands featuring Han Solo, Chewbacca and Lando Calirissian. Solo: A Star Wars Story inspired water bottles and bags are also available to park-goers.
These items will be available throughout Disneyland and Walt Disney World, but it is currently unknown which specific stores will sell them. Select merchandise can also be purchased on ShopDisney.com or the Shop Disney Parks app.
Disney World guests are able to watch Solo: A Star Wars Story at Disney’s Hollywood Studios by attending the Star Wars: Galactic Nights special event on May 27th. Tickets are available online here.
