Nighttime Spectacular, Event, and Transportation Changes Tonight Due to High Winds at Walt Disney World


Due to high winds caused by a line of storms moving through the Walt Disney World area this evening (2/6/20), Disney will be modifying and/or canceling certain nighttime entertainment options, special events, and transportation options. The modifications are being made to help ensure the safety of both guests and cast members alike, and are as follows: Nighttime entertainment: Modified: Happily Ever After (Magic Kingdom) Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular (Disney’s Hollywood Studios) Disney Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show (Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort) Canceled: Epcot Forever Fantasmic! (Disney’s Hollywood Studios) Electrical Water Pageant on the Seven Seas Lagoon Special Event Dessert Parties: Continuing as scheduled: Disney’s After Hours (Disney’s Animal Kingdom) Fireworks Dessert Party (Magic Kingdom) A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party (Disney’s Hollywood Studios) Canceled: Frozen Ever After Sparkling Dessert Party (Epcot) The Fantasmic! Dessert and VIP Viewing Experience (Disney’s Hollywood Studios) Rivers of Light: We Are One Dessert Party (Disney’s Animal Kingdom) Transportation: Not operating: Sassagoula River Cruise Disney Skyliner Operating, but monitoring winds: Ferry Boats at Transportation and Ticket Center
