In the midst of thousands of employment layoffs across The Walt Disney Company, one Disney executive is seeing their salary increase. Deadline is reporting that Disney Communications Chief Kristina Schake has received a pay rise due to an “increase in her responsibilities,” the publication stated.
Not only is Schake allegedly receiving a base salary of $780,000, exclusive of bonuses and incentives the Disney exec has also seen her contract extended to July 2026. Deadline has reported that Schake’s total 2022 compensation reached “$6.2 million, including bonuses and stock awards.”
