Travel & Leisure Co. filed plans Tuesday for a new 600-room hotel with timeshare units. The filing is in Orange County, to be built near EPCOT Center Drive at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The project, titled ‘Project Mary’ in the pre-application documents filed April 10, would rise on 12.22 acres at 14355 Chelonia Parkway that are owned by an entity tied to Orlando-based Travel & Leisure Co.

The plans show that there will be two towers with maximum heights of 200 feet with 250 timeshare units and 350 hotel rooms. Additionally, the plans also describe a 3-story parking garage and other amenities such as a restaurant and lodge, a pool and pool club, fitness center, ballroom and event lawn, according the Orlando Business Journal.
No project timeline has been revealed; however, “Steven Goldsmith, director of public relations for Travel & Leisure Co., told Orlando Business Journal that the company ‘is evaluating other possible business uses for the site, so we are going through that process with the county.'”
