Polynesian Disney Vacation Club property sales to begin January 12

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has announced that sales will start next week for their newest property, Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. Current DVC members can begin purchasing on January 12 and sales will open for all other guests on February 9. The first phase of the resort, which will include the Bora Bora Bungalows and the Deluxe Studios, will open April 1.

There will be 20 Bora Bora Bungalows, each sleeping up to 8 guests each. Each bungalow has two full bathrooms, a kitchen, in-unit laundry facilities, a living room and dining room. Reminiscent of the South Pacific, the area is surrounded by a plunge pool overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon and will have a view of the Magic Kingdom’s fireworks.  Private decks will allow guests to watch the fireworks while listening to the accompanying music piped in on individual sound systems. The Electric Water Pageant can also be viewed from the bungalows.

There will be 360 Deluxe Studios, the largest at Walt Disney World, that sleep five and can connect to a neighboring Deluxe Studio.  The Studios will have a split bathroom, one with a shower and sink and one with a sink and tub/shower.  There will also be kitchenettes in the units and a pull-down armoire bed that features Lilo and Stitch artwork.

Leah grew up in a little farming town in Illinois, right on the Mississippi River. Her Chicago-born husband, David, left the city for her, and they're now raising their three children (Jacob, Jonah and Lydia) just 12 miles from her hometown. As the Senior Editor of the DIS (wdwinfo.com), Leah spends a lot of time writing about, reading about, and discussing Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
