Power Outage Affects Disneyland Park

On one of the busiest days of the year at the Disneyland Resort, a power outage is affecting some areas of Disneyland Park.

According to reports, power went out at about 11:00am in both Toontown and Fantasyland due to issues with a transformer. Guests were escorted off of several rides in the those areas.

The Disneyland Resort said in a statement that they were working to restore the power, but no further details or an estimate of repair time was given.

2:34pm update – The Disneyland Resort just tweeted that power has returned to Toontown and “it’s a small world” Holiday.

4:00pm update – Power has been resort to all areas of Disneyland Park and the park will be back to full operation within 30 minutes.
