The purveyor of some of the most delicious desserts on Walt Disney World property will be returning soon as it’s been announced that Beaches and Cream Soda Shop will reopen at Disney’s Beach Club Resort on December 26th, 2019. The newly renovated restaurant will return with some of its most beloved grill items, flavored sodas, and milkshakes. We’ve also been told that the much-loved Kitchen Sink will return as well.
When Beaches and Cream reopens, guests will find that they have more room to savor their diner favorites and sweet treats. The layout and interior of the restaurant have been expanded to offer more space. The restaurant has also been given a new look that reflects soda shops of the past, while embracing a modern, beach-inspired color palette. Guests will find shades of almond, teal, and rose in the decor, as well as the accent colors of blue and yellow. Colorful globes reminiscent of beach balls will hang from the ceiling, and artwork depicting Mickey and his friends at the beach, as well as framed antique mirrors, will complete the newly renovated space.
To complement the refreshed interior, guests will find that the menu has also been refreshed. New menu items, such as a French Dip sandwich, a Seared Salmon Filet sandwich, and a selection of loaded tater tots (like the Sock Hop Topped tots shown above) have been added to the offerings.
One of the new desserts will be the addition of plant-based cookie fries. The cookie fries dish comes with chocolate, caramel, marshmallow cream, and strawberry dipping sauces.
Guests can begin now to book reservations starting on December 26th, 2019 via the My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World website.
