Did you know that today is National Pet Day? To celebrate, runDisney has opened registration for the runDisney Virtual Running Shorts Series featuring Pluto!
From those just starting out on their first run to experienced marathon runners, all are invited to participate in one or all of the fun 5K summer runs in this series. The best part is that you get to choose where you complete your run; whether it’s around your neighborhood, on a treadmill, or even around your local dog park along with your favorite furry friend.
Take a look at these adorable Pluto-inspired medals that will be offered as your reward.
“There are three individual race windows, each with a different commemorative finisher medal spotlighting elements of Mickey’s No. 1 pup. Run all three of the 5K races within the completion timeframe and you’ll also receive a Virtual Running Shorts Series Finisher Medal plus a Coolcore towel to beat the heat. PLUS, if you register for the Virtual Running Shorts Series by April 30, 2017, you can also receive a commemorative dog tag for your favorite pet and a collapsible bowl!”
