According to an article in the OC Register, Disneyland has reached a return to work agreement with 11 of the unions who represent the vast majority of cast members who work there.
The agreement will allow Disney’s California theme parks to bring their cast members back to work as soon as possible with new COVID-19 health and safety measures in place including free testing for employees.
Disneyland and Disney California Adventure have been closed since mid-March and remain so as they wait for the state to issue reopening guidelines.
Among the unions who have reached agreements are Workers United Local 50 who represents the majority of food and beverage cast members, Master Services Council, Independent Employee Services Association, Craft Maintenance Council, and International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees.
There has been no announcement regarding the reopening of the parks as of the time of this post.
