The Disneyland Resort has just announced that later this year, Salt & Straw, a new family-run ice cream shop will open in Downtown Disney.
Salt & Straw was founded by cousins Tyler and Kim Malek who ensure that their handmade ice cream is made in small batches with local, organic and sustainable ingredients.
The company is known for their “taste-provoking, imaginative ice cream creations, which uniquely capture the spirit of classic Americana.”
Head ice cream maker Tyler enjoys forming partnerships with local farmers and uses those fresh ingredients for special seasonal flavors.
There is no opening date yet for Salt & Straw.
