After the death of trainer Dawn Brancheau in 2010, SeaWorld Orlando installed fast-rising floors in their killer whale pools, designed to quickly lift a trainer out of the water in case of emergency. SeaWorld did not disclose a cost for the floors or if there were any problems with them.
