
Disneyland is celebrating Valentine’s Day with some special food options in locations throughout the resort.
At the Disneyland Hotel, Goofy’s Kitchen will add some Valentine’s Day-themed desserts to the buffet. Steakhouse 55 will offer a three-course meal with wine pairings that includes chipotle-spiced ahi tartare, bacon-wrapped filet of beef with mascarpone whipped potatoes, and a white chocolate crunch cake with dark chocolate ganache and raspberry ice cream. The Steakhouse’s Classic Afternoon Tea will feature Valentine’s options on February 3-5, 10-12 and 14, 2017, including Shanghai Rose black tea, a chocolate raspberry scone, pink velvet cupcakes and a heart-shaped macaron.
The Grand Californian Hotel’s Napa Rose will serve Chef Andrew Sutton’s four course Wine Country Valentine’s Day Favorites. Storytellers Cafe has a prix-fixe three course meal that includes market field greens, New York strip loin and lobster tail with sun-dried tomato risotto and asparagus, and a vanilla creme brulee with berry compote.
In Disney California Adventure, Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream is scooping up a Valentine Sundae, with strawberry and vanilla ice cream in a waffle bowl, topped with strawberry sauce, graham cracker, pink whipped cream, sprinkles and chocolate covered strawberries. Paradise Pier Ice Cream Company is adding a chocolate-strawberry swirl soft serve. Schmoozies is blending a chocolate-strawberry smoothie with frozen fresh strawberries, strawberry juice, chocolate syrup, ice cream and milk, topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup.
Disneyland’s Blue Bayou Restaurant is featuring roasted lobster tail, snow crab, sauteed mahi mahi and potatoes all served in a creamy lobster-cognac sauce with onions, celery and peas. Carnation Cafe has Surf & Turf, with a sirloin steak, shrimp skewer, mashed potatoes, sauteed broccoli, sun-dried tomato butter, and her beurre blanc sauce. At Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe, you’ll find a heart-shaped strawberry macaron.
Throughout both Disneyland Park and California Adventure, you’ll be able to find special cherry-vanilla cotton candy.
