Disney has announced that Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is set to open on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Walt Disney World and on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Disneyland.

Once work is completed at Walt Disney World, Imagineers will head back to California to complete their mission at Disneyland Resort.
Walt Disney’s birthday is on December 5 making it the perfect date to honor the “ultimate storyteller by introducing the most immersive and advanced attraction ever imagined in a Disney Park” inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
