Hot on the heels of yesterday’s sneak peek that hit the internet showing the design of the Sith Troopers from the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, D23 announced today that Lucasfilm will have its own dedicated pavilion on the show floor at this year’s D23 Expo.
The exhibit will focus on the evolution of stormtroopers throughout the Star Wars movies, and actual on-screen costumes from the films will be on display.
In addition to the stormtrooper exhibition, there will be interactive elements and video shorts for children.
D23 also announced that guests in hall D23 will be treated on Friday, August 23rd at 3:30pm to a peek at director Jon Favreau’s upcoming Disney + series, The Mandalorian. Favreau will be joined onstage for a presentation by Dave Filoni (supervising director on Star Wars: The Clone Wars and writer/director on The Mandalorian), as well as other special guests.
