If you’re a fan of The Devil Wears Prada and you need a reason to swing by Disney Springs this week, we have you covered. The Devil Wears Prada 2 hits theaters on Friday, May 1, but the hype has definitely arrived early at Walt Disney World.
Right now, you’ll find an oversized red stiletto display set up as one of the best photo ops we’ve seen in a hot second. It’s dramatic, eye-catching, and basically made for fans of the film. The setup sticks around through May 8, so there’s a fairly limited window to check it out. If you’re already planning a movie day at Disney Springs, don’t miss it. If not, this might be your excuse.
Over at AMC Disney Springs 24, the lead-up to opening day is well underway. Guests in the area will see that the theater is already decked out with promotional banners and a display that builds that “event movie” energy before the film’s official premiere. Tickets are available for purchase now, so if you’re planning to see it right away, we recommend locking in your seats ahead of May 1.
And then there’s the merch. DisneyStyle, a fabulous boutique located in the West Side area, has a small collection inspired by the film, including a clean, wearable “Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking.” tee and a matching tote. It’s simple, but if you are familiar with that line from the film, you know.
We always love to see fun offerings like this when new films come out, and Disney Springs does them so well. Nothing over-the-top, just a stylish little preview moment for a movie a lot of people have been waiting on. If you’re a fan, it’s worth a stop before opening night.
