A few more plot details for the upcoming Toy Story 4 have been revealed. John Lasseter, Pixar founder and Disney chief creative officer, spoke about the film to CNBC. He confirmed that the film will be “a love story with Woody and – and this is news – Bo Peep.” Lasseter said the plot is inspired by his marriage to his wife, Nancy. When the sequel was announced last year, Lasseter had mentioned that it would be a love story, but no details were revealed at that time about who the story would be about. It will pick up where Toy Story 3 left off.
Bo Peep was not in the third installment of the franchise, so fans are hoping this new film will explain her disappearance; she was only referenced once when Woody said that she was one of the toys they had lost.
