Trailer for ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is Breaking Records

With over 4-months to go before it even hits theaters, Avengers: Endgame is already breaking records, with the recently released trailer becoming the most viewed trailer ever in a 24 hour period.

In a tweet, Marvel announced the achievement:

To the greatest fans in the world, thank you for being there from the beginning til the endgame and making Marvel Studios’ #AvengersEndgame the most viewed trailer in history with 289M views in 24 hours! pic.twitter.com/Fe0MA2Gfqy

The 289 million views beats out previous record-older Avengers: Infinity War which saw 230 million views its first day. According to Disney, the recent trailer for the upcoming live-action adaption of The Lion King received 224.6 million views in 24 hours.

Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
