Uber will soon be bringing UberFAMILY to Orlando. UberFAMILY will be just like the regular Uber car service that is available in many areas around the country, but with the additional option of a car seat for your child.
This is currently available in New York City, with pricing being the same as requesting uberX, plus a $10 surcharge for the car seat.
It is unclear if the Orlando program will work exactly the same as the New York version. If so, one potential issue for the Orlando market could be the availability of only one car seat per vehicle. With so many families traveling to the area, there may be many that need more than one car seat.
There has not been a timeline announced yet, or specific pricing for the Orlando market, though this is expected to be announced soon.
