Between snapping photos, checking up on attraction wait times, dining reservations Multi Pass and Single Lightning Lanes, it’s no wonder our phone batteries seem to deplete much quicker when visiting Disney Parks.
FuelRod machines around Walt Disney World and Disneyland have been a lifesaver. After a one-time purchase, you’ll receive an initial battery kit, including a fully-charged battery pack rod, several cords and an adapter to fit multiple phone and device charging ports. On a recent EPCOT visit, we noticed some significant FuelRod upgrades. New kits are now available for $38 each at all FuelRod locations at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. The new FuelRod kit includes:
- One fully charged portable charger
- One 3.5” USB-C to USB-C cable (for Android devices and iPhone generation 15+)
- One USB micro adapter (needed for some Android devices)
- One 3.5” USB-C to Apple Lightning cable (for iPhone generations 14 and prior)
- One adapter for USB-A connections
The FuelRods now have battery life LED indicators, making it easier to plan your next swap!
And if you purchased one of the original kits, you can upgrade to a new kit for FREE! Just swap in one of your original FuelRod batteries and the machine will automatically upgrade you to a new kit, as the old ones are no longer supported.
