Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs has only been open since September, but it’s already winning awards. VIBE, a beverage industry forum “showcasing national trends, insights and opportunities,” is honoring the beverages at the new location and naming it the “Best Beverage Menu.”
The restaurant is designed around the adventures Jock Lindsey, Indiana Jones’ pilot, had as he flew around the world. Keeping with this theme, the beverages are all inspired by his travels around the world. The Disney Parks Blog shares some of these cocktails and their origins: “the Hovito Mojito and The Bitter Barkeep cocktails are from Jock’s travels to South America, The Aviator’s Flight and The Scottish Professor cocktails are from his European adventures, Anything Goes and Bedtime Story cocktails are from his Asian travels and the Cool-Headed Monkey and Safari Sangria cocktails are from his African excursions.”
In addition to the eight signature cocktails, there are also non-alcoholic options, local craft beers and wines.
