During The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration, viewers will have the opportunity to “Glow at Home” during select performances in the special, thanks to the brand new “Made with Magic® 3.0: Connected Ear Hat.” This new ear hat uses bluetooth technology while the Shop Disney Parks app will enable viewers who are wearing the new 3.0 edition ear hats at home to sync with the ABC holiday special playing on the viewers’ TVs or other devices making viewers feel like they are part of the show.
The app also has a brand-new remote-control feature allowing the ear colors to be adjusted; the speed of the strobe can be adjusted too.
One nice thing is that viewers at home aren’t required to have the special edition ear hats in order to participate. The Shop Disney Parks app will allow you to enjoy a second screen experience as your mobile phone mirrors the spectacle on-screen during select performances.
