In April, the Disney Ambassadors shared on Instagram that Walt Disney World Cast Members will soon wear new name tags. The time has come to retire the 50th Anniversary name tags and move on to the next chapter. When they announced this, I was excited to see what the new name tags would look like for this next era of Disney World.
On May 6th, Disney shared a first look at these new name tags on the Walt Disney World Cast and Community Facebook page. I adore the new design and can’t wait to see them in the parks. They recently started mailing them out to cast members, so I assume we will see them in the parks before the end of the month. My favorite part of the design is the gold star by the castle. Disney said that the gold star above the castle represents cast members as the guiding light for The Most Magical Place on Earth. Doesn’t that just warm your heart?
Hi, I'm Erica, and I write about all things Disney. Before working for The DIS, I was a theme park performer at SeaWorld, but I also performed at Disney. I have such an immense love for theme parks to the point I studied them in college.
