Lilly, the first white Shetland pony ever born at the Tri-Circle-D-Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, made her first appearance recently.
Named after Lillian Disney, Lilly was born in March to Lady and Ferdinand, two of the Shetland ponies that pull Cinderella’s pumpkin coach during Disney’s Fairytale Weddings or parades at the Magic Kingdom.
When she turns two, Lilly will start training and could also begin pulling Cinderella’s coach within a year.
Currently, Lilly can be found a few hours a day at the show pasture near the barn at Fort Wilderness, where she lives with the 90 other horses and ponies that help add that extra touch of magic at the Walt Disney World Resort.
