Walt Disney World Makes $1.5 Million Donation to the Valencia College Culinary Arts Program

The Walt Disney Company continues to give back to the communities it calls home, both in Southern California and Central Florida. Today, the Walt Disney World Resort announced a $1.5 investment in the culinary arts and hospitality program at Valencia College.

The school is relocating to a new campus in downtown Orlando and the donation from Disney will help them create state-of-the-art classrooms with cutting-edge technology.

The Walt Disney World Center for Culinary Arts and Hospitality at Valencia College is expected to open this fall as part of a shared campus with the University of Central Florida.

In addition to the donation, Disney also plans on offering the expertise of their award-winning chefs to the students, who will be working on degree programs, certificates, and workforce training.
