On Monday, Walt Disney World announced that vacation packages for January through October of 2025 would go on sale today, and now, we’re seeing that theme park ticket prices have increased for 2025.
For this first example, let’s look at a comparison of April 2024 to April 2025 with a one-day, date-based base ticket. April and December tend to be the busier (and pricier) months at Walt Disney World, considering Spring Break, Easter, and Christmas. December 2025 ticket pricing is not available yet.
Most dates in 2025 have increased in price from 4% to 10% (based on Jan. – Oct.), depending on the date you choose. So far, it looks like $169 is the highest price for a one-day ticket, but keep in mind that holiday ticket pricing isn’t on the new calendar, so we’ll have to wait and see.
It’s worth noting that when a ticket price increase is announced, it typically goes into effect immediately. Whether or not we’ll see a ticket price increase in 2024 remains to be seen.
