One of the highlights of this year’s Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Weeks has to be the exclusive character meet and greet at Disney’s BoardWalk, and Disney Vacation Club has just shared a fresh batch of photos that are almost too cute to handle.
Mickey Mouse and friends are all dressed up in Western-inspired outfits that feel almost as though the event should be held in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom. This fun, limited-time meet-and-greet and photo opportunity is available exclusively to eligible Disney Vacation Club Members during this year’s Welcome Home Weeks celebration.
Mickey is wearing a cowboy hat, a western vest, and rolled-up jeans. Minnie is dressed in a blue western dress, with matching boots and a hat.
Donald and Daisy Duck are in matching frontier-style outfits.
Dale has a special western vest with his name stitched on the back and a classic red bandana.
DVC Members can enjoy this character experience in Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s BoardWalk on select dates through August 26, 2026. The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and is part of Welcome Home Weeks, which offers special perks for eligible Disney Vacation Club Members at Walt Disney World. These perks include limited-time treats, exclusive discounts, and other unique experiences.

Disney Vacation Club also reminds Members that on-site parking is not available for this event. Guests planning to attend are encouraged to use Walt Disney World Resort transportation to reach Disney’s BoardWalk.
These western costumes are full of fun details, and it’s always a treat to see Mickey and the gang in outfits you won’t normally find around Walt Disney World.
Eligibility: Members eligible for Membership Extras with a Resort reservation at Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort or Aulani Resort, plus 4 Guests (or the number of additional Guests on the reservation).
A valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID are required at event check-in. The Member listed on the Digital Membership Card must be in attendance.
