A 10-year-old boy from Ft. Lauderdale experienced a dream come true recently when he came face-to-face with some folks from Walt Disney Imagineering.
Dominick Masi already knows that wants to be an Imagineer when he grows up. Dom’s a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, he loves Disney History, and he is addicted to The Imagineering Story on Disney+.
Don’s family visited Disney’s Hollywood Studios to be among the first to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and as he came off of the attraction a Cast Member introduced a surprised Dom to several Imagineers that worked on it. They shared fun facts and insider details about the new attraction, plus shared what it’s like to be a Walt Disney Imagineer.
Jon Georges, an Executive Producer for Walt Disney Imagineering, talked about the experience:
We were thrilled to meet Dom and his entire family. It was incredibly special to hear about his passion for Disney and our team. We can’t wait to see where his creative mind and imagination will take him next!
Dom’s dad said that meeting the Imagineers “meant the world to him and to our family.”
