Minnie Vans are those adorable red cars covered in white polka-dots that you may see driving all over Walt Disney World property. It’s a paid service that is connected by Lyft. I have not used the service, but some of our contributors have, and of course, they wrote about their experiences.
A Disney Facebook group called “Walt Disney World Cast and Community” is a verified Disney account, and they recently posted some exciting news regarding the Minnie Vans.
This transportation service will have something to entertain the kiddos while being transported to the next destination, whether dinner at a resort or another Disney theme park. I think it’s a cute addition; it reminds me of how the Magical Express would play videos on the journey between the airport and Disney World. Mickey Mouse Shorts have become more popular throughout the years to the point that Disney made an entire ride based on the style of the mini-episodes.
Those Mickey Mouse shorts inspired Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway over at Hollywood Studios, and you can find many familiar faces in the attraction. Having these shorts in the Minnie Vans will continue to get guests familiar with the show, the art, and the characters that make appearances in the series.
