If you are visiting Walt Disney World with a baby, understanding your options ahead of time is a must. While babies can often be fairly easy to care for in the parks compared to slightly older children who want to ride, eat, and touch everything all at once, sometimes the one thing you need is the hardest to find: A little bit of peace and quiet. Luckily, Disney has you covered, even if you don’t know it yet.
In each of the four main parks, there is a Baby Care Center that is more than just your usual cramped room adjoining a family restroom like you might see in the local mall. These are a whole different experience that might need to be seen to be believed. Each one is a multi-room space with everything you might need, from changing tables and comfortable chairs to power outlets and kitchenette areas. They’ve got microwaves, bottle warmers, as well as great decor and TVs to distract your older children while they wait and relax.
Forgotten to bring one of those baby essentials? Don’t worry, each Baby Care Center is stocked with items for purchase that range from diapers and food items all the way to a change of clothes or accessories for those unexpected accidents. In some, you can even find strollers and stroller fans for purchase if you decide that your stroller-free vacation was a little too ambitious after all.
You don’t need to have a baby to enjoy the benefits of these specially designed-areas. If you have little ones with additional needs that need a space to feel calm and regulated, you can also visit these rooms to enjoy a snack and a reset in one of the attached sitting rooms. My favorite part about these centers is that they are designed with the whole family in mind, not just a single parent trying to juggle all the work by themselves. Get the teamwork happening as your family takes time out from the park to feed, pump, change, or reset with your little ones. Let’s take a look at where you can find these Baby Care Centers in each of the four Walt Disney World parks:
Baby Care Center – Magic Kingdom
Just off Main Street, U.S.A., you can find Magic Kingdom’s Baby Care Center between Casey’s Corner and The Crystal Palace.
Baby Care Center – EPCOT
When visiting EPCOT, you can find a Baby Care Center in the Odyssey building as you head toward Mexico in the World Showcase area.
Baby Care Center – Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Just after you enter through the main gates of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Baby Care Center can be found on the left-hand side.
Baby Care Center – Disney’s Animal Kingdom
You can find the Baby Care Center at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on the main path between Discovery Island and Africa. It is located on the left just before going over the bridge to Africa.
