4 Disney World Hotel Deals for 2026 and How to Choose the Right One

Just last week, Walt Disney World released four different hotel offers, each aimed at a specific type of guest. Depending on who you are and how you travel, savings range from 30% to 40% off resort rooms. There’s even a package deal that throws in two FREE nights and theme park days with tickets!

It’s great news… but can also feel a little overwhelming. Not every deal fits every trip, and picking the wrong one could mean leaving money on the table. Here’s a breakdown of all four offers and how to decide which one actually works best for you.

Annual Passholders: Save Up to 40% Off

Offer valid May 1 to July 29, 2026

This is the strongest offer Disney released. WDW Annual Passholders can save up to 40% on Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts when staying five nights or longer. Shorter stays still see solid discounts on Value and Moderate options, just not quite as deep.

This is the clear winner if you already have a pass and are planning an early summer trip. Just remember the Passholder must be staying in the room and will need to show proof at check-in.

Best for: Passholders booking longer stays, especially at a Deluxe resort.

Florida Residents: Save Up to 35% Off

Offer valid May 1 to July 29, 2026

Florida Residents get their own version of the Passholder deal, with slightly lower savings but still very solid. Longer stays unlock the best discounts, with up to 35% off Deluxe Resorts. Proof of Florida residency is required at check-in.

Best for: Florida locals without an Annual Pass planning four or more nights.

General Summer Room Discount: Up to 30% Off

Valid May 1 to October 4, 2026

This is the most flexible offer and the easiest to book. Anyone can use it, it runs the longest, and it does not require Florida residency or a pass. Longer stays get the best discounts, topping out at 30% off Deluxe Resorts.

This offer can also be combined with the 2026 Kids Dining Plan offer, which adds extra value for families.

Best for: out-of-state guests or anyone traveling later in summer or early fall.

Two FREE Nights & Two FREE Park Days

Offer valid May 26 to September 15, 2026

This one works differently. When you book a qualifying room-and-ticket package, Disney automatically adds two extra nights and two extra park days. You are essentially turning a four-night trip into six nights.

It’s a great value if you need both a hotel and park tickets; the catch is the short booking window. You must book between now and February 15, 2026. But hey, free is free! Not only are you adding MORE time at Disney for less, but you can put that budgeted money you saved towards something else… perhaps a Disney Cruise deposit?

Best for: families booking full vacation packages who can commit early!

Which Offer Should You Choose?

  • Annual Passholder: Take the Passholder discount. Nothing beats 40% off.
  • Florida Resident: Use the Florida Resident offer if you don’t have a pass.
  • Need hotel and tickets: The Free Nights Package adds serious value if you book in time.
  • Out-of-state or flexible dates: The General Summer Room Discount is your safest bet – plus, it extends into fall, offering the most availability.

Exclusions & 1 Bonus Offer

Certain room types are excluded across all four deals, including the Polynesian bungalows, Copper Creek cabins, Island Tower Villas, three-bedroom villas, and resort suites.

Room discounts cannot be stacked with each other. The only exception is the Free Kids Dining Plan Offer, which can be added to qualifying packages. Availability is limited, and theme park tickets are required separately for room-only offers.
