Walt Disney World is leaning hard into family fun for summer 2026. From May 26 through September 8, Disney will once again roll out Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, a seasonal slate of limited-time entertainment, kid-focused experiences, and vacation deals designed to make summer visits more appealing and more affordable.
Between expanded park hours, new character offerings, and multiple ways to save on resort stays and tickets, summer 2026 is shaping up as one of the best-value times of the year to visit Walt Disney World.
Summer Deals and Savings
Free Room Nights and Park Days
Guests who purchase a select 4-night, 4-day (or longer) Walt Disney Travel Company room-and-ticket package can receive two additional free nights and theme park days. That turns a four-day trip into at least six days. This offer is valid for most nights May 26 through September 15, 2026, and must be booked between January 6 and February 15, 2026.
Resort Discounts
Guests can save up to 30% on select Disney Resort hotels for stays most nights May 1 through October 4, 2026.
Florida Residents may save up to 35%, and Annual Passholders up to 40%, on select resorts. Full offer details are available beginning January 6, 2026.
Free Water Park Admission on Arrival Day
Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel between May 26 and September 8, 2026, will receive free admission to one Disney water park on their check-in day.
Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be operating, giving families flexibility to choose their preferred park. The benefit can be used before a room is ready, making it especially useful for early arrivals.
Extra Resort Perks
Resort guests will continue to receive 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry, with special character appearances planned during that window across all four parks.
Select resorts, including Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, and Port Orleans Riverside, will offer additional kid-friendly activities, character visits, and family programming alongside regular offerings like Movies Under the Stars and poolside games.
Free Dining Plan for Kids
In 2026, Disney is also offering a free dining plan for children ages 3 to 9 when guests purchase a qualifying vacation package that includes a dining plan for guests ages 10 and up and a Disney Resort hotel stay. The dining plan allows families to prepay meals and snacks, simplifying budgeting during the trip.
Limited-Time Cool KIDS’ SUMMER Experiences
Each park will feature kid-focused entertainment and activities throughout the summer.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Bluey and Bingo will appear at Conservation Station, with games, photo opportunities, and Australia-inspired animal education.
- Magic Kingdom: Toy Story characters will host Jessie’s Roundup at the Diamond Horseshoe, featuring crafts, dancing, and interactive fun.
- EPCOT: CommuniCore Hall will host GoofyCore, with DJ-led games and activities starring Goofy and the Goof Troop.
- Hollywood Studios: A new Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! stage show will debut, featuring Mickey, Minnie, and friends in an interactive musical adventure.
