The 2019 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival begins this week, and several innovative and exciting merchandise options are coming with it. Let’s take a peek at what the Food and Wine Festival Merchandise Team has cooked up for us this year.
It wouldn’t be the Food and Wine Festival without a spirit jersey, would it? This year’s spirit jersey is a first: it’s the first of its kind to feature a vertical dip dye print. A pink, gray/mauve, and white dip dye is the base for this jersey that features Chef Minnie and her motto: “Everything’s better with sprinkles”. The Chef Minnie spirit jersey will be available for $64.99. There’s also a matching Minnie Mouse ear headband in rose gold with embroidered cupcake topper that sells for $29.99.
A new Chef Mickey and Chef Minnie Dooney and Bourke lavender-colored print will be featured on four styles for this year’s Food and Wine Festival, and one of the styles is a unique camera case-type crossbody. The collection will feature the camera case crossbody, a wallet, a tote, and an Annual Passholder-exclusive handbag.
Also available at this year’s festival is an adorable rolling pin (lower left in the picture above) that will leave imprints of Mickey and Spaceship Earth on your dough as you roll it out. The rolling pin sells for $19.99, and is accompanied by an oven-safe Epcot International Food and Wine Festival pie plate that will be available for $24.99. A set of reusable cutlery made of sustainable bamboo also joins this year’s merchandise offerings, and will be sold for $14.99. I was told that much of this year’s merchandise items were inspired by red wine and cork.
Along with the standard Annual Passholder Food and Wine Festival merchandise offerings (a t-shirt, a hat, etc), passholders will have the opportunity to purchase mugs and plates created just for them featuring Chef Remy, Chef Mickey, Chef Minnie, and Chef Figment.
The first mug and plate will be available for purchase on August 29th, and the remaining items will release for purchase on September 12th, 2019. The mugs will sell for $19.99 and the plates will retail for $14.99.
Pins aplenty will also be available for this year’s festival, and will feature an assortment of your favorite Disney characters (there will even be pins that highlight the characters visiting the World Showcase pavilions). Chef Minnie will be featured in a pin set of her very own.
There’s sure to be a souvenir (or two!) for everyone among the offerings at this year’s Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. The festival begins August 29th and continues through November 23rd. Happy shopping!
