Guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World on Monday got an unexpected surprise, as Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station soft-opened ahead of its official debut on May 26, 2026.

And based on all the huge smiles in our photos, it’s already a hit.

Families who made their way out to Conservation Station were able to experience the new Bluey-themed offering early, with many social media posts reporting that kids were fully locked in from the moment they stepped inside. During today’s soft opening, the experience is operating with a standby queue, giving guests a rare chance to walk in without needing to plan ahead.

That will change quickly.
Once Bluey’s Wild World officially opens on Tuesday, Disney will shift to a virtual queue system, meaning guests will need to join through the My Disney Experience app. A traditional standby line will not be available during the initial opening period, and each guest will only be able to request access once per day during regular park hours.

If you’re in the park today, Monday, this soft-opening window might be the easiest way to experience the new space. We should note that the Jumping Junction area was not allowing visitors during the soft opening to give the animals more time to get used to being around guests.

Bluey’s Wild World is part of the Cool Kids’ Summer campaign, offering more kid-focused activities for families visiting the Walt Disney World theme parks, especially in areas like Conservation Station that don’t always draw heavy crowds. Pairing a wildly popular character like Bluey with an interactive, family-friendly space was a really smart move, and it’s clearly connecting with visiting guests already.

It also adds another reason to make the trip out to Conservation Station, which requires a short train ride from the main part of the park. For a lot of families, that extra step has made it easy to skip in the past. That might not be the case anymore.
We’ll have a better idea of how the virtual queue operates once the attraction officially opens, but for now, the early access has given guests a sneak peek at what could end up being one of the most popular kid-focused experiences at Walt Disney World this summer.
If Bluey is a must-do for your crew, you’ll want a plan.
