We spend a lot of time raving about the holiday decorations at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, but it’s time we shine a light on the decor at Animal Kingdom. Everything here is very unique and is nothing like the other Walt Disney World theme parks.
My favorite Christmas tree is the one at EPCOT, but the one at Animal Kingdom is a close second. I love the placement of all the ornaments and the theming that goes into it. It really captures the essence of the park.
I also love how vibrant some of the decorations are. For example, the garland by the park entrance is full of color, making it stand out.
Discovery Island Decor
Discovery Island is where guests can find the Merry Menagerie. Some of the most talented puppeteers work alongside very impressive puppets. Together, the two create a beautiful experience while bringing these animals to life. The best part of this is the animal puppets interacting with Discovery Island guests.
DinoLand U.S.A. Decor
DinoLand U.S.A. is filled with tinsel and fun holiday music that will have everyone dancing.
Africa Holiday Decor
In the park’s Africa area, some decor is sprinkled around. I love how these decorations are perfectly made for this park section. It is just so beautiful.
Asia Diwali Decor
In the Asia section of the park, guests will find Diwali decorations hanging across the area near Feathered Friends in Flight. Diwali is a Hindu festival, and it was celebrated on November 12th, but the decor will stay up for the rest of the holiday season.

Hi, I'm Erica, and I write about all things Disney. Before working for The DIS, I was a theme park performer at SeaWorld, but I also performed at Disney. I have such an immense love for theme parks to the point I studied them in college.
