Since Zootopia Better Zoogether joined Animal Kingdom’s attraction lineup, and with Zootopia 2 in theaters, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps are now meeting guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Naturally, we had to go check it out. We made it a priority on our most recent visit to see what the experience was like, and here’s everything we learned.
Where is the Meet & Greet?
You can meet Nick and Judy at Discovery Island, right near the Tree of Life, at the Zoogether Day Gathering Spot. It’s located directly next to the entrance of the new show, so it’s easy to find even if you’re just wandering through the area.
They meet here daily from 8 AM to 3 PM, with their final set wrapping up by 4 PM. Cast Members make it clear that you must be in the queue before 3 PM if you want to be guaranteed your spot.
The Queue
One thing to note: there’s no posted wait time. Instead, Cast Members stationed at the start of the queue let us know the wait tends to fall between 45 minutes and an hour. For us, it ended up being just over 40 minutes by the time all was said and done. The line moves steadily thanks to a continuous meet-and-greet flow. There’s no Lightning Lane here, so every guest goes through the regular standby queue.

TIP: Because a good portion of the line is still unshaded, we’d recommend doing this meet early in the morning if your schedule allows. We made the mistake of hopping in during the afternoon, and the Florida sun was very much… present.
The good news? Nick and Judy are fantastic to watch while you wait. They interact enthusiastically with each family, and they take occasional breaks to “grab some PAWpsicles” before returning a few minutes later.
The meet-and-greet setting is also adorable, with a vibrant backdrop and props like a box of carrots straight from Hopps Family Farm and a radio shaped like a cat head.
The Experience
The Cast Members running this experience were wonderful; kind, communicative, and clearly having fun with the guests. A PhotoPass photographer is available here, and the additional Cast Members are happy to snap a few photos or video on your device for you.
And as for Nick and Judy? They’re an absolute delight to interact with, and their updated looks are fantastic in person — bonus points for those super-soft cuddly character hugs!
I mean, Judy’s lashes alone deserve their own award…
Nick and Judy’s meet and greet is currently listed on the Walt Disney World calendar through January 3rd, 2026, and all signs point to the experience continuing beyond that date. If you’re a Zootopia fan, this one is absolutely worth adding to your Animal Kingdom day!
