Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World has a sweet new addition roaming the savanna.
Disney Parks shared photos on social media Tuesday introducing Cinnamon, a new Ankole calf who recently joined the herd at Kilimanjaro Safaris. The announcement was accompanied by several adorable photos showing the young calf alongside the rest of the Ankole cattle on the Harambe Wildlife Reserve.

“Kilimanjaro Safaris has a brand new resident: Say hello to Cinnamon, the new Ankole calf at Animal Kingdom,” Disney Parks wrote in its post.
The photos show Cinnamon exploring the savanna, standing close to the adult members of the herd, and getting comfortable in the expansive habitat that guests experience during a ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Ankole cattle are one of the many animal species featured on the attraction and are known for their impressive horns, which can span several feet from tip to tip. While the adults are hard to miss during a safari, Cinnamon’s much smaller size makes for an especially cute sight as the calf stays close to the herd.
Disney hasn’t yet shared details about Cinnamon’s birth date or whether guests can expect to see the calf while riding the attraction. As with all animals on the reserve, sightings can vary from day to day depending on where the herd chooses to spend its time.
Still, if you’re planning a visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in the coming weeks, keep an eye out during your next trip through the Harambe Wildlife Reserve. You just might spot Disney’s newest four-legged resident.
Based on the photos Disney shared, Cinnamon already looks right at home on the savanna.
