When it comes to Disney, the magic doesn’t end with theme parks, movies, and characters. Behind the scenes, The Walt Disney Company is also hard at work making real-life dreams come true. With strong ties to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Disney frequently helps children in unfortunate situations to achieve their dreams, and we love watching as they get to enjoy their wishes. Today, we get to meet Cora, a beautiful five-year-old who took time out from her battle with heart disease to Make-A-Wish and meet Corra, Animal Kingdom’s baby elephant. Let’s take a look:
After Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom helped five-year-old Cora get through hospital stays while battling coronary heart disease, there was no hesitation on where she wanted to visit. So, alongside our friends at Make-A-Wish America, we planned a special day for Cora at Animal Kingdom. When planning for the big day, our elephant keepers at Walt Disney World had someone very special they wanted Cora to meet … baby elephant Corra!
