If you’ve been following along with our Disney Bounding series, you already know how much fun it can be to add a little character magic to your park wardrobe. We’ve looked at standout style inspiration for both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, and now it’s time to turn our attention to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This park is packed with movie magic, from galaxy-hopping adventures to throwback Hollywood glam, making it the perfect backdrop for some seriously creative looks. Whether you’re channeling vintage starlet vibes or suiting up with your favorite space crew, Hollywood Studios offers endless ways to let your Disney Bound shine. Here are a few of the most unique characters to take inspiration from in Orlando’s third Disney theme park.
Star Wars
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to the East Coast version of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, making it the perfect place to let these intergalactic characters inspire your outfits. Think old favorites like Darth Vader, Princess Leia, and Han Solo, along with newer characters like Rey, Kylo Ren, and of course, the iconic Stormtroopers. With easily recognizable characteristics like Leia’s Hair buns, or the monochrome white and black coloring of Stormtroopers, it’s easy to add small accents to your look that make a big impact. There is so much room to play here, and of course, enjoy a photo shoot in a perfectly themed land while you are there.
Toy Story
Disney PIXAR’s movie, Toy Story, changed the game for family animation entertainment. The multi-layered humor and deep character journeys meant that fans of all ages connected with these new faces in numerous ways. If Buzz, Woody, Jessie, or anyone from the gang is the perfect representation of your style, this is the park to let it shine. The immersive environment of Toy Story Land provides a bright and colorful backdrop for your photos, three attractions to enjoy, themed dining opportunities, and characters to snap your favorite moments with. Mix and match your favorite characters’ colors, patterns, and textures to create fun and inspired outfits that are sure to impress!
Stage Show Inspiration: Indiana Jones, Disney Villains, and The Little Mermaid
Is adventure your middle name? You’re in the perfect place to celebrate all things Indi! The heart of Disney’s Hollywood Studios is steeped in the glamour of movie magic, and the famous Indiana Jones series is perfect for any action/adventure fan. The park offers the beloved Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, so you can watch the action in person while donning your favorite adventure look.
Two new stage shows offer even more outfit options with both The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains Unfairly Ever After. Your inner mermaid is ready to take the stage in purple, green, and seashell accents. Or, you might decide that your villainous thoughts are better styled with the blacks, purples, and deep greens of the Disney Villain crew. Use specific details to differentiate between the villains, such as a horned headband for Maleficent or a seashell necklace for Ursula, both of whom would otherwise have very similar coloring in a block coloured Disney Bound.
