Here’s some cool Disney news for your week!
As of today, May 21st, Disney’s Blizzard Beach has officially reopened following a brief seasonal refurbishment. Its return marks a milestone for Walt Disney World Resort, as it joins Typhoon Lagoon to offer guests access to both of Disney’s water parks simultaneously—for the first time since 2019.
With all four theme parks and both water parks now open, Disney enters its peak summer season with its full slate of six parks operating together; a welcome return to pre-2020 offerings.
Both water parks will be open daily through September 7th, 2025, with the following hours:
- Blizzard Beach: 10AM – 7PM
- Typhoon Lagoon: 10AM – 7PM
In addition, Disney Resort hotel guests can now enjoy even more flexibility, as water park admission on check-in day is valid at either water park.
This expanded schedule is expected to help manage summer crowds while offering guests more options for cooling off. Whether you prefer the snow-capped slides and lazy river of Blizzard Beach or the tropical wave pools and water coasters at Typhoon Lagoon, this summer marks a rare opportunity to experience the full range of Disney’s aquatic attractions.
