Good Morning, my Disney-loving Friends! I don’t know about you, but my excitement was off the charts yesterday when I saw something very special pop up on YouTube. Let me go back to the beginning. It wasn’t hard to fall in love with Disney’s Zootopia when it debuted in theatres in 2016. It was a fish-out-of-water story (in more ways than one) told with quirky characters, familiar voices, catchy music, and a brand new world where animals brought loveable personalities to life. It was everything we didn’t realise we had been waiting for, and it wouldn’t be long before its obvious integration in Disney’s Animal Kingdom would be announced.
While we have known that Zooptopia 2 was in the works for a while now, it wasn’t until yesterday that The Walt Disney Company gave us our first look at the new Teaser Trailer. It is giving us all of those mischievous adventure vibes we had hoped for. Check it out now!
Walt Disney Animation Studios revealed a brand-new teaser trailer this morning for Zootopia 2, the highly anticipated sequel to 2016’s Academy Award®-winning Zootopia. Featuring glimpses at new and returning characters, the trailer reunites rookie cops Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) and teases a new team-up with a mysterious pit viper, Gary De’Snake (voiced by Ke Huy Quan).
In the film, which opens only in theaters November 26, Judy and Nick find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De’Snake arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, they must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before.
