Disney has released some footage and images from Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, offering a glimpse into the new live stage show debuting next week, on May 27th, at Disneyās Hollywood Studios.
The new images closely resemble the show’s concept art, with the stage surrounded in gallery-framed screens alongside the Magic Mirror, and include some close-ups of the villainous trio who will soon take center stage in their own set dressings.
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After is built around three classic villains -Cruella DeVil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent- and the Magic Mirror. Disney wanted to tell a bit of a different story than weāve all been told before: which villain has beenĀ treatedĀ the most unfairlyĀ ever after?
The production will blend live music, original songs, and an interactive finale, where the audience will help decide which villain has been treated āmost unfairly ever after.ā
