With every new glimpse of Six Ravens, it’s becoming more and more obvious that this won’t be your average quick-service restaurant.
The upcoming Disney Springs dining location has just shared another behind-the-scenes look, this time revealing its newly installed front door pull. Calling it a door handle almost feels like an understatement. It’s an enormous handcrafted work of art that immediately sets the tone before guests even step inside.

If you’ve been following the progress of Six Ravens, you may have already seen the building’s striking exterior taking shape. (Be sure to check out our earlier look at the restaurant’s façade for even more photos.) This latest reveal adds yet another layer of storytelling and craftsmanship to what’s already shaping up to be one of Disney Springs’ most intriguing new additions.
Mounted on the restaurant’s massive wooden entrance doors, the custom metal door pull features the profile of a raven stretched across two shield-shaped panels, surrounded by rivets and star details. It’s bold, beautifully weathered, and looks like something pulled straight from the entrance of an ancient castle.

According to the Six Ravens owner, the piece was created by artist Tony Politis, whose work can be found at Adjectives Market in the East End Market. Owner Steve Lewis shared that the project carried special meaning, as the two first met a decade ago while opening the first Gideon’s Bakehouse location at Orlando’s East End Market.
Lewis explained that Politis helped create the memorable lighting fixtures for that original Gideon’s location at a time when he was “a broke guy who didn’t know what I was doing.” Bringing him back to contribute to Six Ravens felt especially meaningful.
The result certainly doesn’t disappoint.
In his Instagram post, Lewis joked that the massive door pull is “fit for a King” and “must weigh 500 pounds,” adding that it’s difficult to say for sure because he’s “super strong.” He also called the piece a work of art and thanked his longtime friend for his incredible talent.
It’s these kinds of details that have many of us Disney fans eagerly awaiting Six Ravens’ grand opening. From the thoughtfully crafted exterior to custom artistic touches like this spectacular entrance, the restaurant already feels like it’s telling a story before guests even walk through the door, which we cannot wait to do!
While an official opening date still hasn’t been announced, Six Ravens teased that things are “moving right along” and promised more reveals are coming soon.
If this door pull is any indication of what’s waiting inside, Six Ravens is shaping up to be one of the most visually impressive new additions Disney Springs has seen in quite some time.
