8 New Food & Drink Items to Try at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to spend a day wandering the lush trails of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney just gave you several. A fresh lineup of food and beverage offerings has arrived at locations throughout the park, bringing everything from savory sandwiches and steamed buns to colorful cocktails and decadent desserts.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch between attractions or settling in for a relaxing meal, there are plenty of new flavors worth adding to your must-try list.

Flame Tree Barbecue

One of the park’s most popular quick-service restaurants has added a Korean Barbecue Sandwich to the menu.

Served on toasted ciabatta, the sandwich features crispy pork belly topped with pickled carrots, pickled red onions, fresh cilantro, and Korean barbecue sauce. It looks like a satisfying combination of sweet, savory, tangy, and crunchy, making it an intriguing alternative to Flame Tree’s barbecue classics.

Pizzafari

Pizzafari is serving up two new menu additions, one savory and one sweet.

The new Creamy Pesto Chicken Pasta combines tender chicken with creamy pesto sauce over pasta and is served alongside garlic bread for an extra comforting meal.

For dessert, guests can finish things off with a Marble Swirled Cheesecake, topped with chocolate drizzle and chocolate cookie crumbles.

Satu’li Canteen

Pandora’s fan-favorite quick-service restaurant has introduced three new offerings.

The Spicy Pork Steamed “Pods” feature flavorful pork tucked inside the restaurant’s signature black steamed buns and are served with slaw and house-made chips.

Those looking for something refreshing can sip on the new Specialty Chai Cold Brew, which layers cold brew coffee with spiced chai flavors and a whipped topping.

For guests 21 and older, the Pandoran Sunrise with Rum adds an adult twist to the colorful tropical beverage, making it a fun option while exploring Pandora – The World of Avatar.

Tiffins Restaurant

Over at Disney’s signature table-service restaurant, two handcrafted cocktails have joined the menu.

The Yuzu Amarillo Cocktail offers bright citrus flavors with a sophisticated presentation, while the Orange Carajillo puts a refreshing spin on the classic coffee cocktail, making it an excellent choice before or after dinner.

Whether you’re planning your next Animal Kingdom adventure or simply keeping an eye on what’s new around Walt Disney World, these additions give foodies a few more reasons to explore the park. From bold international flavors to creative cocktails and indulgent desserts, there’s something new waiting at nearly every corner of Disney’s wildest theme park.
