Walt Disney World has again updated their face covering policy for guests visiting their dining locations.
The changed wording, first noted by Brooke Geiger McDonald, now states that face coverings “…can only be removed while actively eating or drinking. Face coverings must be worn while standing, waiting or sitting in dining locations.”
This wording, which shifts away from the initial policy that stated that “masks may be removed when seated while eating or drinking,” leads one to think that guests must now, even when seated at a table for a meal, wear a face covering if not eating or drinking at that moment.
If additional information or clarification is made available, we will be sure to update this story.
