Walt Disney World will be embracing National Churro Day on June 6th, celebrating with some limited-time specialty churros in the parks and Disney Springs. While the east coast might be offering more of the classic churro options compared to the unique snacks at Disneyland, there is one in particular that I absolutely need to try. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, there will be one item at the Nomad Lounge on my next order, the churros with vanilla creme and strawberry-guava sauce. You can also find me at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort trying the Warm Churros with espelette sugar and chocolate sauce, which I can’t believe I have not had before. Never heard of espelette sugar? I’ll give you a brief summary at the end so you know what to look forward to. Let’s take a look at what else you can find around the Walt Disney World Resort.

Now you might be wondering what espelette sugar is. The red speckles in the picture are an espelette pepper that originated in France and carries a fresh flavor with hints of mild spice. Mixed with the sweetness of the sugar, this might be the best flavor combination on offer.
