Summer House on the Lake is located on the West Side of Disney Springs near AMC and is one of the newest restaurants at Walt Disney World. Even better, Summer House recently launched its “Martini Hour” with specially priced appetizers, martinis, wine, and beer. You, too, can enjoy Martini Hour Monday – Friday from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the bar seating area only. Luckily, there are two large bar areas. One towards the front of the restaurant and one that is open to the outside with a view of Lake Buena Vista.
Espresso Martini – vodka, espresso liqueur, and cold brew – $10
This espresso martini is made from a Kettle One martini machine but tastes hand-crafted. The espresso liqueur gives it a subtle chocolate taste and the vodka compliments the cold brew nicely. I only wish it had some of the foam from being a shaken martini, but for $10 at Disney… I highly recommend this espresso martini.
Classic Martini – made with Fords Gin – $10
This martini was perfectly balanced and the floral from the gin was so refreshing with the lemon peel. Again, another great value for a Disney drink!
Finn Collins – gin, rosé, lemon, rhubarb – $10
The Finn Collins is a take on a classic Tom Collins and is heavy on the rosé. This would be a great cocktail for someone looking for something sweeter and lighter.
Summer House Signature Rosé – $5
The Summer House Rosé is made in collaboration with BonAnno Wines and is described as being a light, floral rosé with notes of tart cherries and watermelon. More importantly this is one of the best Martini Hour deals. This a solid rosé and look at the pour for $5! And at Disney World?? You owe yourself a second glass.

“Better than Bar Food”
Two Saucey Chicken Tenders – choice of Old Bay (pictured), lemon pepper, or DC Mumbo celery, and GG’s blue cheese – $9
The chicken tenders are a much larger portion than I was expecting. Unfortunately, the tenders were heavy on the breading and were overly crunchy. I was expecting the Old Bay to taste more like the seasoning, but instead, it was a spicy buffalo sauce. I would pass on the saucy chicken tenders next time for other menu items.
Bottomless Truffles Fries – truffle aioli, parmesan – $10
And here it is… the pièce de résistance. I give you bottomless truffle flies. They are crispy, matchstick-style fries and are abundant in both truffle aioli and parmesan. Plus, the truffle aioli is creamy perfection. You can share one order of bottomless truffles fries per four people. So come early to Martini Hour so you can enjoy at least two orders!
