The construction walls surrounding the new flagship location of Gideon’s Bakehouse have now been removed, and all signs point to opening day being very near.
Gideon’s Bakehouse has officially announced that the Disney Springs location will begin soft opening December 23rd at 10am! An official grand opening will happen in 2021.
We’ve watched the transformation of the new Gideon’s location with bated breath (and hungry tummies), just waiting for the day that we could get our hands on their signature 1/2 pound cookies on Walt Disney World property.
A large sign placed in front of the Gideon’s Bakehouse Disney Springs location announces that training is currently in progress, and I’m thinking that opening day will be happening very, very soon.
Now that the construction walls have been removed, we can get the full picture at Gideon’s gothic facade. The window displays are filled with antique books, scales (for weighing those massive cookies), glass cloches filled with cookies, and all things wonderfully macabre.
The exterior signage on the location asks all to join in on Gideon’s nightly Hot Cookie Hour. Who are we to say no?
