This is a great question that I hear pretty often. Those who have been to Downtown Disney in Anaheim might be picturing the area as quite a bit smaller than the Florida version is; however, Disney Springs is substantially larger at 120 acres. Seriously. The area holds more than 150 venues that can entertain for literal days with shops, restaurants, shows, and entertainment facilities. So, when working out how long you will need to cover the area, you first need to figure out what you want to do.
If you prefer to focus on the available entertainment options, it would be easy to spend a day or two here with shows like Drawn to Life by Cirque du Soleil, a hot air balloon flight with Aerophile, Bowling, Amphicar Tours, live music, and so much more. Should you want to add shopping and dining into the mix, you could easily spend much longer enjoying all the culinary options and boutique shops. The best part about Disney Springs is that the area is constantly evolving with seasonal events and festivals, so anything you don’t get to enjoy the first time around will be waiting for you on your next visit, along with more exciting attractions to take part in.
Let us know how long you spend at Disney Springs. If you were a first-timer looking to soak up as much of this area as possible, how much of your Disney vacation time would you allow to enjoy it?
