Team members of José Andrés’ Disney Springs Jaleo location, in partnership with World Central Kitchen, worked this week to feed people in need the Orlando area.
The Jaleo team worked with team members from Orlando’s Reyes Mezcaleria and Orlando-based Good Salt Restaurant Group to provide and deliver 120 meals to nurses, and 500 free meals to people in Downtown Orlando.
World Central Kitchen was started in 2010 by Chef Andrés, and works to provide food for community members. World Central Kitchen, along with Chef José Andrés’ Washington D.C. area Jaleo locations (Bethesda, MD, Crystal City, VA, and D.C.), have been providing both free meals and meals at lower costs since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis.

Deni loves all things Disney, and, in 2013, moved to the Magic from Maryland. Walt Disney World is her happy place, and she loves getting to share it with others. Deni and her husband of almost 26 years have 2 grown children. Her favorite WDW snack? A Mickey Bar, of course. Is there any other?!
